We hope we can return next year and rock the class of 2013.

]]><![CDATA[My Personal Challenge]]>Fri, 16 Mar 2012 18:29:50 GMThttp://nolimitsdjs.com/blog/my-personal-challengeI don't make New Years resolutions. They always never work and by March I stop trying. But this year I am making a change. (No it wasn't a New Years resolution)

My whole life I have struggled with a weight problem. As the years of being teased went on I stopped caring. Instead started to laugh at myself and and people eventually stopped.  But as I get older and look at little ones and know one day my child will have to endure the same ridicule I did going up. Unless I make a change now.

On Monday I set a goal for myself one I haven't made in years. I vow to lose the weight. Not for me. But for my future kids. I don't want to be the Fat dad or the one who can't play with their kids because they are to big.

I usually write on my blog on Friday. So I will update with my progress. As of today I am 5 days into my program and have lost 6 pounds. I feel 60 more pounds will put me at my ideal weight.

Some of the cool things we have been working this past week:
  1. Setting up our new Event Software: This gives current and future clients better ways to communicate with us. Also, on the fly access to invoices, Contracts, Music List, and Wedding Info Sheets.
  2. Updating the website: With all the new features we are updating the website. Now new clients have the ability to check dates and have instance access to quotes. Also creating a new Client Access page for current clients to access their information.
  3. Text Alertz Campaign: We try as hard as we can to stay ahead of the curve. We are piloting new marketing concepts and joined the Text Alertz Family. If you would like more information on Text Alertz and how it can change the way you Market Click Here
